Project Overview
Zeus 360 produced a high-precision 3D Matterport virtual tour of the central boiler room facilities at Salford Universityin Greater Manchester. Commissioned directly by the mechanical engineering contractor responsible for installing the plantroom machinery, the digital twin was captured to serve as an internal training resource, asset demonstration tool, and technical handover reference.
The interactive 360° scan captures complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) infrastructure, industrial boilers, control units, and pipework arrays in accurate spatial detail. By building a digital twin of the operational plantroom, the installing contractor gained a B2B sales demonstration model to display their engineering capabilities to future clients, while university facilities teams gained remote access for maintenance planning and safety inductions.
